For the purpose of diagnosis we use high-tech bunocular autorefractor PlusoptiX A09. It is especially designed for pre-verbal infants (6 months and older) as well as non-cooperative patients. This includes patients with developmental delay, autism, traumatic brain injury and restricted mobility. The device allows contactless measurement of refraction simultaneously in both eyes. Taking a measurement is easy and takes less than one second. These method and equipment are revolutionary for the prevention and treatment of amblyopia aka lazy eye.
